Youth Services

Serves ages 13-18

Youth Services offers a wide variety of activities. Youth Services provide emotional support, life skills training and can serve as a bridge to community resources. Family support is available internally through our Parent Teen Mediator Services and Clinical Counselling Services. Open Referral.

Parent Teen Mediator

Serves ages 13-18

The Parent Teen Mediator provides impartial mediation to youth and parents when there is existing conflict and the likelihood that without intervention the youth will be out of the home, or may remain out of the home on a protracted basis. The mediator serves youth 13-18 and their parents.

Family Preservation Services

The Family Preservation Worker delivers a brief, intervention designed to prevent child out-of-home placement, assist families in reunification following out-of-home placement, and reduce the risk for child maltreatment by assisting families to change behaviours and increase their skills. The service will develop, implement and maintain intervention strategies that will facilitate success. Open Referral.

Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment (PEACE)

Serves ages 3-18.

PEACE provides services to address concerns, issues and prevention for children and youth who have been exposed to violence and abuse. The intent is to promote healing and help children and youth learn coping strategies through direct interventions. Support is also provided to caregivers. Open Referral.
